Recently selected as one of District Magazine’s Future Of Irish Music 2023 artists alongside the likes of Curtisy, Moio and Qbanaa, DeCarteret is a short lady from County Clare Ireland, who likes to make lo-fi beats and classical music. Sometimes she makes other things such as neo-soul, jazz and R&B and sometimes she draws too. Sometimes she dances but she’s not great at it, she misses the countryside and her favourite colours are brown, blue, green, purple (she can never decide). Taken from her forthcoming debut EP Crying & Cumming On The Bathroom Floor, ‘Icarus’ was co-written with Bricknasty’s Fatboy and features guest verses from Khakikid and Ahmed, With Love.

In keeping with her music’s theme of childhood reminiscences, the singer’s live shows take you on a journey into a world of bubbles, face painting, temporary tattoos and the breaking of the barriers between performer and crowd. This – and more – will be evident at three special pyjama party listening events around the EP’s release. Inviting the audience to bring their sleepover gear and settle in for an evening of R&B, pop and indie, the nights will feature some of the UK and Ireland’s most exciting new artists alongside a full live performance of the project.

Support on the night comes from Uly, f3mii, Jossle
